Directing
Mirror Like tells the story of Aurelio, a psychologist and single father, who struggles to maintain his sanity as everything seems to mirror his own suffering. This unfolds against the backdrop of a momentous event: several months ago, the sun disappeared, darkness reigns, and society is plunged into utter confusion. Fernanda, his younger daughter, suffers from a rare illness that slowly takes its toll on him. With his wife missing, Aurelio becomes his children's sole support, but his strength has its limits, and they are nearing their end.
Vicente, an 11-year-old boy and Guillermo, an 80-year-old man, meet every day at the same bus stop. Although they recognize each other, they never relate. An unexpected event confronts Vicente with himself, revealing one of the primordial conditions of human nature.
Two guilty mothers. One who acknowledges the truth and the other who denies it.
