Lina, a popular social media influencer, begins to feel pressured as she gets older, yet remains unmarried, especially as her mother constantly nags her about finding a match. On her journey back to her hometown, her car breaks down and gets stranded in Kampung Damai before being helped by Pak Samad. There, Lina meets Amir, Pak Samad's son who is an active and dedicated entrepreneur. During her stay in Kampung Damai, Lina also joins the villagers in making various preparations for the Independence Day celebration, while simultaneously opening a new chapter that changes her perspective on life, family, and love.
Inheriting his father's work at Pak Abu's gas station, Amir finds his job very challenging because he has to do much of the work himself, including cleaning and dealing with customers' whims. It also seems to evoke memories with his late father. Since Amir has no parents, Pak Abu has taken care of Amir like his own son until he passed on the gas station business to Amir.
The story follows a young Chinese man named Harry who visits Sarawak. He accompanies his best friend to his hometown to celebrate Gawai Day. Unexpectedly, Harry falls head over heels for a beautiful and friendly Iban girl named Jenny, who also serves as his tour guide throughout his stay in Sarawak. However, their romance faces strong opposition from Jenny's father. Watch how Harry earnestly strives to win over Jenny's father's heart and gain his acceptance as Jenny's destined partner.
