Juli and Charlie are mother and daughter — and two women who need each other just as much as each other needs her. TAKE CARE captures the moment in which neither of them can give the other what they need. As Juli lies sick in bed, just before an impending departure, care and a new beginning collide. Charlie seeks closeness, but finds herself caught up in a world of duty where there’s no room for feelings. Juli wants to be allowed to be independent — yet still be held close. The film forms a duet with "Open and Shut" (2026).
WATCHME is a short film about the desire to be seen—and the helplessness that comes when that desire goes unfulfilled. It’s about feeling beautiful and making oneself look pretty. It’s about shame and hiding, about disappointment and the secret longing for help.
Anouk and Bo grew up together until they had a falling out the summer after graduating from high school. Now, almost a year later, they see each other again. Together, they clear out Bo’s grandmother’s house — a return to a place they both knew from their childhood. Between them lie unresolved conflicts, a newfound sense of distance, and old familiarity. Over the course of 24 hours, they experience arguments, change, and closeness and dance along the line between friendship and something a little more.
“open and shut” is a short film about two sisters who find themselves stuck in old roles after their parents’ separation. Sascha and Liz are searching for closeness, but their efforts are repeatedly thwarted by arguments. In three repetitive cycles that grow longer with each iteration, they find themselves at the same threshold—a room cluttered with vases by their obsessive father—where new conflicts arise before each argument breaks off and starts all over again. In the end, two portraits remain: Sascha and Liz, who want to say something to each other but cannot. They are stuck. The film forms a duet with "TAKE CARE" (2025).
