A girl named Tara says goodnight to her Mom and brother and settles into bed with a snack and her phone. In the darkness, her face is lit only by the screen as she watches TikToks. When she reaches for her phone charger, something touches her hand-twice. Alarmed, she looks under the bed and briefly sees a hand move. Terrified, she hides under the covers, then peeks out and spots a figure sitting in the dark corner of her room. Each time she looks, it's closer.
