The story revolves mainly around Ingrid—a mother who can make just about anything work. And if something doesn’t work, she tries harder. Or gives it a tug. Or starts over. But being the single mother of the prickly six-year-old Zoey is the one thing she just can’t get a handle on. And Ingrid loves Zoey. Loves her dearly. It’s just that the hardships of motherhood sometimes weigh heavier than the joys.
