Masha spent her entire 11 years of life with her cosmonaut father at the spaceport. She knows how to fly a plane, a boat, and take responsibility for herself, but she doesn't know how her peers live. To make friends and get used to life on Earth, she goes to a regular school in St. Petersburg, where her incredible adventures begin.

Mark, a 12-year-old sloppy teenager from a rich family, is sent by his mother from Moscow to Kamchatka to live with his harsh father, Kai, after another scandalous offense. Far from his usual life, the Internet and school friends, the boy finds himself in the world of dog sled racing. Working with animals — the snow eight charming husky dogs — becomes a real challenge for him. Gradually, Mark finds friends — Anya and Petka — and discovers the power of the team, where trust and support are important. And mom and dad have to change their views on raising a child and, most importantly, look at each other with completely new eyes.

During a long journey, Grisha and his stepmother, Vika, spend more time together than ever before. The further they travel, the closer they come to confronting their most difficult emotions—and the person they haven't spoken about in a long time.
