Viktor Suslov finds himself back in the maelstrom of family passions: now he lives under the thumb of a new mother-in-law, with her single-handedly established rules and strict house rules. An already difficult life is disrupted by the sudden arrival of Viktor's twin brother, Tokha. The domestic "idyll" is bursting at the seams when, not without the participation of the mother-in-law, the former enmity of the two brothers flares up again. The situation is aggravated by the appearance on the doorstep of FSIN officers looking for Tokha.
Traumatized by the events of the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War and looking to let off some steam, twenty- four-year-old Stepan arrives in Kyiv with the goal of making a name for himself on the city's underground musical scene. However, the trauma of the occupation and the painful memories gained during his time as a POW, coupled up with newfound anxieties and fears brought on forth by an enviroment so very different to that to which he's normally used to don't allow him to live his life to the fullest and threaten to break his sanity.
