Christmas break, 1971. Samantha and Clara, two students who are staying behind for the holidays at their boarding school, must survive the night after the arrival of uninvited visitors.

When a food critic with no culinary abilities of her own is tasked with preparing her family's first Christmas dinner since the passing of their beloved matriarch, she is forced to enlist the help of a local French food truck owner whom she nearly put out of business with a bad review.
