Biography
Doris Lai, born on December 30, 1984 in Taiwan, China, is a Taiwanese artist who graduated from Tao Chiang College and the Department of Applied English at Jingwen University of Science and Technology. She made her debut in 2003 as the female lead in Jay Chou's music video *Sunny Day*. In 2004, she joined the girl group Seven Flowers and released the group's debut album. The group disbanded in 2009 after several member changes. She has appeared in idol dramas including *Smiling Pasta* and *Star Apple Garden*. After 2010, she starred in dramas such as *The War of Wives* and *Liao Zhai III*. In 2017, she expanded into film and appeared in *Original Wish Road*. She took part in the soundtrack recording of *Miracle of Love* and *Prince Turns to Frog*, and hosted the CTS program *Battle Club*. In 2015, she confirmed her past relationship with Lee An and their subsequent breakup. She registered her marriage with Chiu Lo-wei in January 2024. In April of the same year, she received medical treatment for an ectopic pregnancy caused by in vitro fertilization procedures.
