Wes Malik is an actor and voice artist. A graduate of George Brown College in Toronto, specializing in Film and Television Acting, Wes is carving a name for himself through serious roles in major productions, including Jenny for CBC and Whip Cream on TLN. Before transitioning to acting, Wes established himself as a well-known personality in Pakistan. With a career spanning 25 years on radio at CityFM89 and hosting the nightly news in English on the state broadcasting channel PTV, he earned widespread recognition for his engaging presence and exceptional broadcasting skills. Wes's approach to acting is shaped by his rich multicultural background and global experiences. Growing up in the francophone community of Montreal and completing his higher education in Islamabad, Pakistan, he developed a unique perspective that informs his work. Fluent in multiple languages and proficient in a wide array of global accents and dialects-including South Asian, Southeast Asian, and Middle Eastern-Wes brings versatility and authenticity to every role he takes on. Since relocating to Toronto in 2018, Wes has continued to pursue his artistic passions while operating WM Studios. He lends his voice to audio books for Audible, commercials, and podcasts and remains active as a radio host for CityFM89.
