Teresa's peaceful life is turned upside down when a stain on her kitchen window is declared a miracle. As pilgrims flock to the house and her husband, Henryk, blossoms in the spotlight, Teresa feels increasingly invisible. Torn between her faith, societal expectations, and her own desires, she struggles to regain a sense of self in a world that ignores her.
Paweł comes home with a black eye. On the way to his room, he walks through his father’s car workshop, where the old man’s eagle eye catches the bruise. The father feels obliged to teach his son to stand up for himself and avenge the insult.
