In the West of Portugal, there is a city where a cure is said to exist. Every year, young people from various parts of the country pass through here, many of them connected to the arts, as if they were also looking for that promise. With ordinary routines and intense nights, they build a life that seems both provisional and finite. But one question remains silent: when this is all over, where will these young people go, and what will they actually take with them?
In this film-poem, a protagonist is guided by an "obstinate blindness" and climbs to the top of an islet in search of meaning. Confronted with the blue immensity, he feels torn between belonging and escape. He descends from the islet, embracing the uncertainty and mystery of the unknown. Between fear and acceptance, he discovers that at the edge of the sea a new beginning may reside.
