In 1883 Dakota Territory, the Marquis de Mores and wife Medora arrive to build a home, town, and meat empire, facing hostility from ranchers, beef trusts, and violent locals determined to drive them out.
Seeking justice for her family, an outlaw woman and her lover rob the rich to give to the poor across the Dakota badlands, targeting a God-fearing banker while a ragtag posse of holy idiots tries (and mostly fails) to bring them down.
