Biography
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (13.05.1960). People's Artist of the RSFSR (4.04.1966). After graduating from the Higher Experimental Workshops of V. Meyerhold in 1926, he worked at the Blue Blouse Theater (1926-1929), the Moscow Drama Theater (formerly. Korsha, 1929-1933), the Central Theater of the Red Army (1933-1936), in the theater named after Yermolova (1936-1939). In 1939-1955, he was repressed. Since 1939, he has been in Kolyma. He performed in the plays of the Magadan Gorky Music and Drama Theatre. In 1957-1975, he was an actor at the Kuibyshev Drama Theatre. He also performed at the Leningrad Comedy Theatre. He is the father of Yuri Demich, an Honoured Artist of the RSFSR.
