Biography
Matheus Mafra is a Director, Writer and Production Designer born in Rio de Janeiro. He has years of experience in Rio’s cultural scene, having directed the short movie “Omega” for Academia Internacional de Cinema in Brasil in 2021 and working as a production designer for the TV pilot “CTRL” in 2022. He also worked as a graphic designer for the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) from 2022 to 2023. He graduated from Vancour Film School in 2024, and directed 4 short movies and was production designer for 2 during his stay in Canada. He is currenty working and living in Rio de Janeiro.
