Malhação is a Brazilian television series for the teenage audience. The soap started in 1995, and was set in a fictional Gym Club called Malhação on Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Through the years the location varied slightly. Although the name of the soap remains the same, it is now set in the Múltipla Escolha High School.

In 1970, the Brazilian national team took the field with big dreams and an even bigger challenge: to become the first three-time world champions.

The plot tells the history and daily life of the Lemos Family between the 1920s and 1940s. Júlio works in a fabric store and has the ambition of getting rich to offer his family a good life. His wife, Lola, does everything she can to keep her family together, because she believes that this way they can move on.

Based on a true story, the film is a work of fiction about the famous case of the "Necrophil Brothers."

The meeting between two young guys, Marcelo —in the future, Marcelo D2— and Skunk , who sold t-shirts and cassette tapes in the center of Rio de Janeiro to survive, resulted in one of the most popular bands in Brazil in the 1990’s, Planet Hemp. Suppressed by a prejudiced society, the two made of their music a cry of alertness and resistance, conquering the hearts and minds of an entire generation.
