Hana is a middle school girl who once had a deep interest in music who is reluctantly paired with her classmate, Nada, for a school assignment. Nada, too, once had a gift for music, but it has gradually faded as she slowly loses her hearing due to an illness she suffers from. Her limitations in communication make their relationship increasingly awkward and distant, until a piano opens up a new way for them to understand each other without words.
Sebastian, a cold and highly disciplined courier, lives a quiet life defined by routine. Outside of work, he spends his time wandering through parks, eating ice cream, and riding public transportation with no particular destination. Simple rituals that fill the emptiness of his days. One day, he receives what appears to be a straightforward assignment, retrieve a teddy bear from a locker and deliver it to a designated location. The client’s instructions are clear, follow the orders and ask no questions. After taking the item, Sebastian begins to notice that something is off. Someone seems to be watching him. Soon after, a group of men with malicious intent begins following him through both the quiet and busy streets of Yogyakarta.
A short travelling documentary exploring Ibarbo Park, a family recreation and educational destination in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Home to nearly a hundred varieties of birds, a mini zoo, animal-feeding experiences, and colorful fantasy-themed photo spots, the park offers a vibrant world where recreation and education come together. Created by a group of 11th-grade Film Production students from BOPKRI 1 Vocational High School Yogyakarta, the documentary captures Ibarbo Park during a particular moment in its development—when its now-open Kota Kartun (Cartoon City) area was still being promoted as “coming soon.” Following Neta as the cheerful host as she guides the audience through the largest souvenir center and aviary in Yogyakarta. Completed on November 1, 2024, this unreleased short documentary remains a snapshot of Ibarbo Park as it was during production, preserving a small piece of the attraction’s history before its continued transformation.
