Biography
Luc Junior SEGUR is a Haitian filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor, trained at the Ciné Institute. He was awarded Winner of the 2024 World Humanitarian Day Photo Contest, a recognition of his powerful and emotionally-driven visual storytelling. After working with Muska Group, he joined the World Food Programme (WFP), where he has spent the past three years as a director, editor, and director of photography. Luc’s work is marked by a deep sensitivity to human emotion and the unspoken layers of real-life stories. In 2025, he released ABIZE, a mysterious and heartfelt short film inspired by his own experiences. More than a creative project, ABIZE served as a form of personal therapy, blending raw emotion, visual poetry, and psychological depth.
