Swastik Kargupta is an Indian cinematographer, based in Kolkata. His interest in film and image started developing during high school years, nurtured alongside an academic path. He earned his BA and MA in Bengali Literature from Jadavpur University, before studying cinema at Roopkala Kendro. He tends to bring a broad approach to his craft, integrating elements from his leanings towards music, theatre and graphic art.
