After stealing some diamonds, a thief is wounded while trying to double-cross his gang but before dying, he leaves behind some clues that Vasu and Raghavan try to decode.

Bhaskaran had been jailed under a fake charge of killing his wife, who actually committed suicide, when Velayudhan had tried to molest her. Post release, Bhaskaran intends to avenge Velayudhan.
