Biography
André Parra is a young film director, currently studying in A Coruña. As a profound cinephile, he searches for reference in all kinds of cinema, from Buñuel to Tarkovski, Edward Yang, Juraj Herz or Maya Deren, curiosity opens the doors to cinema as an artistic form of expression, wich accompanied him and defined him during his entire life. He was a part of the young jury in Cineuropa and Curtocircuíto, wich helped him develop his critical thinking. Now, with his first shortfilm, Sardiñas, he tries to form an identity and begin to open his own space inside of film.

A mother doesn't understand the life that her daughter wants to live. A daughter wants to be free but finds herself trapped by family, religion and gender. The mother tries to enter her daughter's world, she doesn't know how to live with it. Should we try and break this eternal generational gap, or keep still, trapped inside a little can of sardines. Symbols and suffocation chase us.
Sardines

A film teacher, fed up with his students, decides to start torturing and killing his class in gruesome ways. One student will manage to scape and cross to a parallel universe where she'll encounter a series of misterious creatures who will task her with finding the heart of Flavio the Unicorn in order to save her classmates.
