Shortly before the collapse of the USSR, Marina and Ivan Schastykh had triplets and began life in a separate apartment number 13. But the naive 1980s are being replaced by the hungry 1990s, and the mood in the family is no longer rosy. Ivan, once the youngest and most promising candidate of sciences at Moscow State University, is forced to become a tutor and a homemaker while Marina earns money on the market. And then 2012 comes — the energy of the new age.

Vera with three children and husband Vitya goes on weekend trip to visit husband's old friend at country house with swimming pool. Katya, her new boyfriend Dima and Vitya drink wine and relax while Vera is busy with children. She breastfeeds month-old Kristi and ensures that children don't drown. Vera meets physiological needs and solves all problems jealously watching her husband who ignores her.
