In an abandoned amusement park, a shoestring budget horror film is rolling. The crew features a "washed‐up yet unwavering" director, a leading couple whose onscreen romance has bled into real life, and a hot‐tempered makeup artist. A Vietnamese-American photographer decides to throw his wedding in Saigon. A day before the wedding, he ends up stranded in a seaside town due to his friends’ prank at the bachelor’s party. Penniless, he reluctantly agrees to be act as a strange woman’s boyfriend in exchange for cash to buy train tickets back to Saigon.
