Frederick Charles Abiera Davao (May 30, 1961 – May 1, 2025) was a Filipino actor and television director.
Mula sa Puso is a Filipino television series originally aired by ABS-CBN from March 10, 1997 to April 9, 1999. Claudine Barretto, Rico Yan, and Diether Ocampo played the roles of the main protagonists in the series. It was re-aired in 2008 through Studio 23 and Kapamilya Channel, which are both ABS-CBN subsidiaries. A 2011 remake, starring Lauren Young, JM De Guzman and Enrique Gil, aired on ABS-CBN from March 28, 2011 to August 12, 2011. The show also gave critical acclaim to director Wenn V. Deramas as his first prime time soap project and as a director and gave character actress Princess Punzalan critical acclaim for her character and antagonist as the phenomenal Selina Perriera-Matias which was also reincarnated again for the television remake by award-winning soap actress Eula Valdez. It was also known for being the most competitive soap, tied with Esperanza, which also ran from 1997 to 1999 and also spanned a film and a soundtrack entitled "Mula Sa Puso ni Esperanza" the TV series had various crossovers with prime time dramas such as Esperanza and the short-lived Mini series Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako.
The story revolves around lovers Yna Macaspac and Angelo Buenavista. Unbeknownst to them, their love story started 20 years earlier between Amor de Jesús and Eduardo Buenavista. Unfortunately, Amor and Eduardo's love will be destroyed because of greed, ambition, and lies. Amor returns to the Philippines as Amor Powers and vows revenge on the Buenavista family which will hurt her biological daughter, Yna, in the process. Meanwhile, Madam Claudia, Angelo's mother, will do anything to destroy Yna and Angelo's relationship and make Yna's life a nightmare.

It also aired worldwide, with a three-week delay on GMA Pinoy TV. Richard Gutierrez plays the superhero, Captain Barbell and his alter ego, Teng. Dyesebel is a fantasy Philippine drama that aired on GMA Network. It is an adaptation of a famous graphic novel about a mermaid created by Mars Ravelo. The series premiered on April 28, 2008 and was expected to air for 25 weeks or 125 episodes, with Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes in the lead roles, and Joyce E. Bernal at the helm. The series ended on October 17, 2008. It was internationally aired on GMA Pinoy TV, which became a huge success to viewers abroad. Dyesebel is a popular mermaid character created by renowned graphic novelist Mars Ravelo. The story has been adapted into five films and a spin-off, throughout the timeline of 1953 to 1996. Edna Luna, Vilma Santos, Alma Moreno, Alice Dixson, and Charlene Gonzales had all played the lead role in the big screen, and all of them reached greater heights after playing the role. Ara Mina played a cameo role in this character in the television series Darna.

Kokak or The Frog Princess is a Fantasy/Romance TV series of GMA Network starring Sarah Lahbati in the title role, with TJ Trinidad and JC Tiuseco as her leading men. Kokak is based on a popular comics serial with the same title, originally created by Ruben Marcelino and published in Darna Komiks. In 1989, it was also made into film by Seiko Films which starred Rachel Lobangco and Gabby Concepcion. Premieres November 14, 2011 replacing Pahiram ng Isang Ina on GMA's Afternoon Prime blocked. The series concluded on March 2, 2012, it ran for 16 weeks with 80 episodes in all. It will be replaced by Hiram na Puso.
