Biography
With an extensive and versatile background for more than a decade in theatre, television, and films, I have had the privilege of portraying a diverse range of challenging roles and few striking TV commercials. My work has been celebrated for my performances in teledramas such as 'Sakarma' and 'Once upon a time in Colombo’ and my contribution in Stage Theatre Group's production of 'WALKING PATH,' is a defining highlight in my career.
Known For
Set against the backdrop of the 2022 Aragalaya (protests), the story begins with Tharindu feeling underutilized in his government job. He eventually gets frustrated and leaves to forge his own path.
Meeya
The story is about a family in a rural village in Sri Lanka. Centers around a mother of five children and how she absorbs the different choices of them and her husband through out the story.
Sakarma
In the 1970s, in the Gampaha district, Desmond Gunasekara , a deeply religious young man from a very ordinary family, accidentally clashes with a crime gang led by a man named Gnane operating in the area.
