Biography
Films directed by YVS Chowdary Devadasu and Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, ran for more than 175 days. Before becoming a director, he has associated with directors such as K. Raghavendra Rao, Ram Gopal Varma, Mahesh Bhatt, and Krishna Vamsi. YVS Chowdary has produced Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Devadasu, and Seetayya in his Bommarillu Vaari Banner. YVS Chowdary was a fan of NTR before he entered Tollywood. He started in Akkineni Nagarjuna's home production film titled Sri Seetharamula Kalyanam Choothamu Raarandi. He introduced several actors who later became popular stars in the Indian film industry. Venkat, Chandu, Chandni in his first film. Aditya Om, Ankita Jhaveri in his fourth film and Ram, Ileana D'Cruz in his sixth film. He also own a film theater named Bommarillu in Gudivada which is named after his production banner Bommarillu vaari.

Veeravenkata Satyanarayana Swamy a.k.a. Satyam (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a beloved person for several villagers, having touched and changed many a life. His grandmother is Baby (Simran Bagga) whose husband dedicated his life to gain independence, taken later as a prisoner of war and missing henceforth. Meanwhile, corrupt doctors, lawyers and journalists are allegedly killed, but their bodies are missing. The suspicions are on Swamy who is arrested, but an old man calling himself Okka Magadu (Nandamuri Balakrishna) claims to have committed those acts. The point is, OM looks like the older version of Swamy whose sworn enemy is Namboodriyar(Ashutosh Rana), a politician whose son elopes with a middle-class girl under Swamy's protection. The story line is very much similar to that of the film Bharateyudu (Indian (1996 film)) starred by the iconic actor Kamal Haasan.Movie was a blockbuster hit.

Just when Satyavati goes to Europe, it is revealed that Munna is none but a mafia kingpin from Bangkok called Saleem and Satyavati lover’s brother is none but a dreaded European don called OJo a.k.a. Ogiraja Jogayya (Mohan Babu). The rest of the story is all about how Saleem wins Satyavati over with his one-side love and his encounters with OJo.
