Biography
Cyril Poitier (November 11, 1911 – November 13, 1991) was a Bahamian-American daycare administrator and actor. The eldest brother of actor and director Sidney Poitier, he had a large family in Miami and briefly took in Sidney when he came from the Bahamas to Miami at age 15. Later in life, he tried his own hand at acting, including appearing with his brother in Uptown Saturday Night, Let's Do It Again, and A Piece of the Action.
