A film that clearly presents the stages of tobacco cultivation, from preparing seedlings, then planting, harvesting, stringing, tanning, and drying. The film also has educational significance, as the stages are described from a scientific perspective, with practical advice for proper tobacco cultivation, in order to obtain the highest possible yields.

A display of factories in Macedonia that process tobacco, as well as the sorting process and packaging of the final product - a range of different types of cigarettes from Macedonian production.

The film, as stated in the subtitle "domestic manipulation", shows the process of sorting tobacco into classes, packing into bales and purchasing. Special attention is paid to the method and criteria for sorting tobacco of the types "Prilep", "Jaka" and "Otlja".
