Appu (Nedumudi) is struggling to make ends meet while doing odd jobs and trying to find a more stable job. In the meanwhile he meets Amminikutty (Madhavi) with whom he falls in love. He however lies to her and makes her believe that he has a well paying government job. In the meanwhile Amminikutty's cousin, Das (Mammotty) arrives in town to further complicate Appu's plans.
Raju, a young man, falls in love with Elizabeth, a beautiful woman, from his college. Though the couple start a life together, the doctor reveals to Raju that Elizabeth may not live long enough.

A wealthy businessman James (Ratheesh) gets killed in a dubious car accident, leaving behind his grieving wife Sussanna (Urvashi) and a young son. Sussanna is an orphan and James was estranged from his family when he was alive. However after his death, James' father Kurien (Jagannatha Varma) feigns friendship with Sussanna and tries to trick her into giving control of James' businesses to him.
