Poornima

Subramaniam is an unemployed youth who has five sisters. He is unable to get his sisters married due to his poverty. He goes to town to find a job and an unexpected incident changes his entire life.

Ilakkangal is a 1982 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Mohan and produced by Innocent and David Kachappilli. The film stars Nedumudi Venu, Sudha, Innocent and Kaviyoor Ponnamma in lead roles. The film had musical score by MB Sreenivasan.

Pradeep is son of a millionaire. He returns from America after his studies. He falls in love with a simple flower seller, Poornima. He marries her against the wishes of his father Shankar. How the young lovers survived facing the reality of life is the rest of the story.

Ananda Rao is in love with the writer of an anonymous love letter. As he tries to finds her, he has to deal with his domineering father and conniving colleagues. Meanwhile, his neighbor Swarna falls in love with him.

Naresh and Pradeep are classmates. Naresh loves Sarada but marries Kamala due to certain circumstances. To save Sarada who is pregnant by then, Pradeep marries her. Naresh, who is unable to forget the past, cannot compromise with Kamala. What happens in this situation forms the rest of the story.

The film is about a man who wishes to avenge the killers of his parents.
