On the surface, this is an attempt to navigate the experience of Dissociative Identity Disorder (aka DID), yet it hint towards the universal truth that at least to some extent, everyone is made up of fragmented selves. The film is an ode to the self, with shifts in everything from angles to color, in order to evoke the journey from avoidance to confrontation, and ultimately, healing.

There is a bird inside each human; either prey or predator, which is just the prey of their own selves. When that bird's fear turns into frustration, all logic is absent and "one shall become the birdman". This crow is a bird of absurdism.

Is it the ego, the superego, and the ID killing one another? Is it a series of alters fighting for independence? Or is it all just a weird dream of troubled mind suffering from the human conditioned reshaped as a hare? That is up to the viewer, powerful translator in the experimental, to decide.
