Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".

The famous engineer Sergey Volgin developed the project for the Moscow Metro. His design was rejected by the Tsarist officials. However, the project didn't get lost among the millions of other proposals.
Double Passing (Dvoynoy obgon) is a 1984 Soviet crime movie directed by Aleksandr Gordon. Truckers Viktor and Ivan Petrovich transport a valuable cargo on a highway in uninhabited territory in the South of USSR. A pair of criminals, seasoned "Bug" and young and ill-tempered "Lyon'ka", hijack the truck. Capt. Madzhiev of the road patrol chases the truck while the truckers are hold by criminals and their life is in grave danger.
A young man arrives in a village to visit his uncle, a retired colonel, and finds the local community "enslaved" by a man who, according to him, "will remain in history." The situation develops into a tragicomedy and takes on elements of phantasmagoria.

A locker room janitor at the train station notices that a suitcase was put in a locker by a man, but pulled out by another man. This suitcase appeared to be stuffed with money. This incident allows a police detective to uncover a huge criminal organization responsible for theft, smuggling and murder.

The tragic story of the Karamazov family takes place in a Russian province in the late 19th century. The relations of their father and three brothers are very complicated and contradictory. The 1970s, USSR. Experienced bodyguard and KGB officer Pavel Selikhov fails to prevent the theft of a unique diamond from the dacha of a high-ranking official. Investigating this strange case leads Pavel to a deeply conspiratorial criminal network, the threads of which stretch to the very top. The further he goes in his search, the more strange deaths and unexpected events occur around him. The bodyguard has learned too much and must be eliminated, but Selikhov will not become a pawn in the dirty game of those in power.
