Former Special Forces soldier Leonid Zubov works as a forester in the taiga. Together with his associates, he solves crimes related to poaching, illegal entrepreneurship, crime in the territory entrusted to him, and also helps residents of the local village of Olkhovka to deal with emergencies and solve personal problems. Vera Bolshaeva, a rural paramedic, is in love with Zubov, which puts him in front of a difficult question - is he capable of falling in love with another woman after the tragic death of his wife.

Each time Andrey successfully delivers a lost soul from limbo, a mysterious number on the taxi-meter counts down one by one. And with each soul’s story a little bit more of Andrey’s past is revealed. Are the Passengers the only souls seeking redemption?
In a training flight, the Il-28 plane crashes. Shooter-radio operator Sorokin without an order leaves the plane, lands first and writes a denunciation to the pilot Yegorov. Yegorov has to leave military service, his beloved girlfriend Nadya is leaving him. Sixteen years have passed since then. The story is based on a play by Ivan Kocherha about love against the backdrop of the craftsmen's uprising in Kyiv in the 16th century. The drama and the animation take place simultaneously in Podil, the center of bourgeois and craftsman life, and on mount Vzdykhalnytsia, where the Lithuanian castle is located. The director Tadeush Pavlenko takes the last three acts of Kocherha's play as a basis, placing the female character Melanka, the beloved of Ivan Svichka, at the center of the plot.
