The events in this family drama are based on husband-wife, daughter-in-law-in-law, in short, family relationships.
Habil is a simple man. He works at the Ministry of Taxes. But after the murder of his friend Rok, his life changes completely. He promises to finish the research that his friend couldn’t. But this path he has chosen is very dangerous and cruel.
Set in 1994 Baku, the film modernizes Üzeyir Hacıbəyov’s musical comedy "O olmasın, bu olsun" by recasting Rustam Bey as an opposition figure who hopes to reclaim his lost office by courting wealthy businessman Ibka’s family. As in the original, a series of comic deceptions and mismatched identities ensue, though all the principal characters have been updated to fit the post-Soviet Azerbaijani context.
The film tells the story of a boy who lost his father in the 44-day Patriotic War.
