Biography
Sulla is a Vietnamese filmmaker whose work revolves around what she calls “recycling memories.” With a background in journalism, she entered cinema as a self-taught outsider, gradually gaining experience across the whole process by writing, directing, editing, and producing her own projects. Her films explore nostalgia and the bittersweetness of ordinary life, blending subtle humor with emotional sincerity. She runs The Orange Blues Film & Creative Production, where she develops her own films and collaborates with art collectives and young Vietnamese filmmakers. Beyond filmmaking, she also co-creates @feeldushow, a talk-and-live session that connects indie artists from music, film, design, and visual arts, exploring stories about art, life, capturing creative journeys and beautiful landscapes of Vietnam while camping together.
