Raju becomes very attached to his four elephants after they save his life. His wife, however, fears for her child and tells him that he must choose between the animals and his family.

ALLA NERAM is about Raju (MGR)'s choice between love his wife (K. R. Vijaya) and friendship (his loyal and devoted pet elephants, ). This is the story about the friendship and loyalty of animals with man. Raju owns elephants and earns a livelihood by making them perform tricks. He falls in love with Vijaya and they get married. But soon, a problem arises. Vijaya hates elephants because of a personal tragedy in her life. She also feels that Raju spends too much time with his elephant friends. Will the elephants succeed in winning over her heart or will Raju be forced to make a choice between his wife and his animal friends?

Vijaya, an orphan and good-hearted woman, takes care of Laxmi, a domestic cow, who adores and protects her. Though Vijaya faces various obstacles in life, Laxmi is always ready to help her.

Vijay lives with his mother in a palatial house deep in the jungles in South India where he makes a living trapping animals for circuses, zoos - both nationally and internationally. He meets with beautiful U.S.-returned Nimmi, both fall in love with each other and want to get married. Vijay's mother cautions them both against separating new-born animals from their birth mothers, but both refuse to listen. Then the unexpected happens, a mother lioness, angered at Vijay for taking her cubs, attacks him, and leaves him badly wounded.

Penn Deivam is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language drama film, directed by M. A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar. The film stars Jaishankar, Padmini, Lakshmi, R. Muthuraman and Major Sundarrajan. The film had musical score by V. Kumar.

Deivam is a 1972 devotional Tamil movie consisting of several stories said to have occured in real in the lives of Lord Murugan devotees.

Ethirpaaraathathu narrates the story of star-crossed lovers Sundar (Sivaji Ganesan) and Sumathi (Padmini) in whose house Sundar, a college student, lodges. Manohara produced by M. Somasundaram. The Sivaji Ganesan-L. V. Prasad production was distinct, becoming a cult classic. Karunanidhi virtually rewrote Mudaliar’s play, introducing interesting changes like the climactic sequence for which he drew inspiration from “Samson and Delilah”, especially the part where the blind Samson pushes the pillars down. Mu. Karunanidhi’s writing was superb with a contemporary touch. His dialogue had punch, satire, wit and humour. Sivaji Ganesan was excellent in his dialogue delivery and P. Kannamba who played the queen mother was equally brilliant. Her line, ‘Poruthathu podhum, pongi ezhu, maganey’, became quite famous.
