Biography
Rastislav Kupšo is a master’s student in film directing at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His work primarily explores themes of guilt, existential despair, the inability to change, and the search for love and inner peace. Although he deals with serious and heavy subjects, he approaches them with lightness and playfulness. His stories often feature humor and magical elements, opening the door to imagination, symbolism, and the poetry of everyday life. His work is also characterized by a distinctive visual stylization and settings in an indeterminate time.

After the arrival of the eccentric Kuliš, the work turns into a series of chaotic events where both the construction and relationships begin to fall apart. Rudo’s inner conflicts come alive through his old love Tamara. In the harsh world of laborers, where chaos reigns and the past blends with dreams, Rudo struggles to keep a piece of his honor and humanity.
