A historic rifle club in the Western Ghats becomes the center of a thrilling fight for survival when a dangerous arms dealer and his gang come seeking revenge. The club’s members, skilled hunters with a shared passion, work together to protect their lives and their legacy.

Basheer (Jagathy) is rescued by a cargo ship while lost at sea. Basheer has had a partial memory loss and he struggles to find out what has happened to him. The captain of the ship (Lalu Alex) tries to get him back to land, but he runs into several legal troubles due to the lack of documents with Basheer to prove his identity. Bhaskara Pillai (Mamootty), a lawyer decides to help out Basheer seeing his plight. The plot thickens when there's an attempted murder on Basheer.

Mathilukal ('Walls') is a free adaptation of the novelette of the same name, written by the celebrated Malayalam writer, Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Autobiographical in character, it is set against the background of India’s freedom struggle in the ’40s when he was serving a term of imprisonment in the Trivandrum Central Jail. When the film opens, we see Basheer in a police lock-up, quite at home in the company of a few petty criminals. He has been languishing there for more than a year now without a trial.

A young man narrates two conflicting accounts of his life, changing the details and incidents in both, as he slowly approaches madness.

Mammootty plays the role of a burglar who is known by different names in different places.He is a kind person and uses the money burgled to help poor and orphans. During one of his burglaries, he happens to witness a murder for which a police officer named Shekharan is falsely accused. He helps Shekharan to prove his innocence.

Two friends, Balagopalan (Jayaram) and Jayakumar (Jagathy Sreekumar), own a call service called "We Help" to help people with the assistance of lawyer Madhavan Thampi (Madhu). Balu gets a call from Indu R. Nair, who is the daughter of a businessman. Later, Indu asks Balagoapan to be her bodyguard. But when Jayakumar and Balagopalan visit her home, they discover that Indu has been murdered. Officer Thomas Mathew takes charge of the case. Madhavan tries to find her killer to save Balagopalan and Jayakumar, before it is too late.

Enroute Madras via train, when three friends get falsely accused of a mysterious homicide, they escape and desperately search for the real killer.

Vishwanathan holds a large share in Keralareshmi and enjoys a huge political clout at state and central levels. Shekharan brings out the role of Vishwanathan in the murder of Vincent Paul, which creates a panic in the political level.

The King is a 1995 Malayalam action thriller film. Directed by Shaji Kailas and written by Renji Panicker with Mammootty in the title role as district collector.
