Biography
A. M. Fazil (born 1953, in Alleppey, Kerala) is an Indian filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Since the early 1980s Fazil has directed some 30 movies. With numerous Malayalam films, as well as several Tamil films and one Telugu film under his belt, Fazil has managed to win the most number of State awards for the best film with popular appeal and aesthetic value.
