At one last attempt to get back together, a separated couple discovers just how far apart they’ve grown. He still clings to the idea of a conventional family, while she has already stepped into another life: living on her own, committed to her work, and unwilling to give up control over her body or her convictions.

The Feast of the Holy Cross is essentially based on the indigenous peoples' request for rain for the next planting cycle. The propitiatory ritual has elements of pre-Hispanic origin, deeply syncretised with Catholicism.
