Between the late 1970s and the 1990s, many young men died while serving compulsory military service, often under unclear circumstances. This documentary focuses on four families’ stories, exposing cases labelled officially as suicide, accident, or self-inflicted death but challenging those designations through testimonies and research.

This documentary uncovers the structural violence against young people who served compulsory military service during the early years of democracy. Forty years later, several witnesses recount the beatings, abuse, torture, and sexual assaults they suffered in the barracks.
