Surya is the son of a local don, and studies at the Chengalpet Matriculation School. His mother who is separated from her criminal husband wants him to grow up as a model citizen. Surya who is attached to his mother gives a promise that he will not take the path to violence again, and is admitted to the up market Lake View School in Ooty, described by its principal as the "Best School in south Asia". Surya is looked down by his snooty seniors led by Rohit and his gang. The only person who stands with him is Babloo, and the principal's daughter Tanya who has a soft corner for him. Under extreme provocation, Surya keeps his cool as he tries to live up to his mother's expectations. However he breaks down after Babloo is murdered, and goes on a revenge spree. The film ends on a tragic note, as the message of the film is conveyed.
A man loves a woman even though she is three years older than him. Although she reciprocates initially, the age difference and his past with a classmate lead her to break up with him.

Sampath is an expert in car, seizing, and works for Atul Kulkarni, who is a financier in North Madras. Burma aka Parandhaman works under Sampath for peanuts and the moment he comes to know the true colors of his boss; he makes his crooked intelligence to show the jail for Sampath and eventually gains the trust from Atul after creating his own brand for siezing cars. Sampath comes back from the jail and secretly plans the downfall of Burma. Burma gets an opportunity to seize 28 cars and he has completed 99% of his job without any fuss only to get stuck on the last car. What happens to Burma and to the rest of lead characters forms the rest of the story with parallel stories layered like a double decker sandwich.
Tamizh and his two friends are offered a huge sum of money by businessman Hippie Lahiri to kidnap Isha, who, incidentally, happens to be Tamizh's lover, on her wedding day. Will they be able to pull it off? Or, are there divine forces at play here?

The story begins with a group of friends: Sridhar, Chandana, Nandini , Mahesh, Bhakti, Jessica, Kishore, Scud. Each of them have their own stories and in between that is the unexpressed love track of Sri and Chandana, Bhakti and Mahesh, Nandini is in love with Kishore. They all finish their college exams and are all set to take on the life with full energy, but then life has its own twists and turns for them and this in turn gives them an experience which is unforgettable and memorable.
The life of Panja, an orphan and a sculptor, revolves around Sathish, Othavada, Kuppan and Sammy, all of whom reside in Mahabalipuram and are close to each other. The only other person Panja considers himself close is Durai, a politician and criminal, who saved him from death when he was a boy. Panja shows his gratitude to Durai by occasionally helping him with his anti-social activities. When Sathish chooses to marry the love of his life, Sangeetha , much against the wishes of their parents, his four friends help him do so. Life is pleasant for a while with Panja too falling in love with Mahalakshmi a college student who moves into the area. However, their lives take a tumultuous turn when the friends chance upon a sleaze video which shocks them out of their wits and results in the death of the newly wed couple. Soon, more dark deeds and disturbing developments follow...
