Orphaned at a young age and later abandoned by her godfather, Vân grows up in the care of kind-hearted nuns at a convent on the outskirts of Saigon. With the help of Mother Superior, the young woman leaves the convent upon adulthood and finds work as a governess for the estate of a wealthy industrialist where she again encounters a series of miseries and torments that have once plagued her childhood.

Paris By Night 99 - Tôi Là Người Việt Nam (English Translation: I Am Vietnamese) is a Paris By Night program produced by Thúy Nga that was filmed at the Knott's Berry Farm on 16 and 17 January, 2010 and released DVD from 8 April, 2010. The show was hosted by Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn and Nguyễn Cao Kỳ Duyên.

The bombing of several regions in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia during the Vietnam War (1955 to 1975) by the United States Armed Forces—what is considered the largest aerial bombardment in human history—left hundreds of thousands of unexploded ordnances hidden underground, that still pose a tremendous threat to local inhabitants today. In this film, Tuan Andrew Nguyen juxtaposes archival footage from the US army with recently recorded images of an unexploded ordnance (UXO) deactivation in the Vietnamese coastal province of Quảng Trị. The province is one of the main UXO hotspots in the Mekong region, with 8,540 casualties and 3,431 deaths recorded since the end of the Vietnam War. More widely, it is estimated that UXO explosions have caused 40,000 deaths in Vietnam; 29,000 in Laos, of which 40% are believed to be children; and more than 64,000 in Cambodia since the end of the war.

Paris by Night 93: Celebrity Dancing - Khiêu Vũ Của Các Ngôi Sao is a Paris by Night program produced by Thuy Nga that was filmed at the Charles M. Schulz Theatre in Knott's Berry Farm on May 14, 2008. The show is an adaptation from the international reality TV show Dancing with the Stars where Thuy Nga contracted-singers were paired up with professional ballroom dancers who have participated in Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. The singers compete to become the winner of the show.

Paris By Night 101: Hanh Phuc Dau Nam (Happiness in the New Year) is a Paris By Night program produced by Thuy Nga that was filmed at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California on November 13 and 14, 2010 and released on DVD, 2 months later, on January 14th, 2011. The show was hosted by Nguyen Ngoc Ngan and Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen. This PBN is the 4th Xuan based program after PBN 76, 80, and 85.

Paris By Night 89: In Korea is a Paris By Night program that was filmed at the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium at the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday, July 1, 2007. It is Thuy Nga's first venture into Asia to tape a Paris By Night program. Thuy Nga chose to tape at South Korea, rather than any other country in Asia simply because of the popularity of Korean actors and singers to the Vietnamese community. The program is directed by a Korean director, Seounghyun Oh. It is Thuy Nga's fourth "Live" show.
