Biography
Mikko Kaakkuriniemi (born 1975 ) is a Finnish drummer . He is a permanent member of Mikko Kuustonen's band and has toured with Apocalyptica since 2024. He has also worked as a session drummer and has played on albums by Tuomo Prättälä , Quintessence , Sami Saari , Lauri Porra , Ari Koivunen , Acorn , Maarit Hurmerinna and Darkness Is My Canvas, among others. Kaakkuriniemi plays with Yamaha drums, Sabian cymbals, Aquarian heads, and Balbex sticks. [ 2 ]
