Directing
Rebecca, an American who has been living in Jerusalem for a few months now, has just broken off her engagement. She gets into a cab driven by Hanna, an Israeli. But Hanna is on her way to Jordan, to the Free Zone, to pick up a large sum of money.
A mother and daughter, each, goes about their day and all the loneliness it brings. The only thing seemingly tying the two together is genetics and a shared medical history. At the end of the day, when they meet, being around each other triggers tremendous sadness and reopens many past wounds. The mother, who dreams of fleeing to Mexico, worries that her daughter is repeating the same mistakes she made.
