Biography
Katsiaryna Zharkova is a Belarusian-Russian stage and screen actress. Born on March 7, 1994, she graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in 2015. She began her career at the Moscow Region Youth Theatre (2015-2017), then joined the Vakhtangov Theatre’s apprentice troupe in Moscow (2018-2022). On stage, she performed lead and supporting roles in “First Love”, “Cinderella”, “Casanova”, “Tout viendra…”, “Minetti”, “Richard III”, “Mademoiselle Nitouche”, “Platonov. Stories”, and others. Zharkova also appeared on screen in the Russian TV drama “Good Hands” (2014, credited), in “Curious Varvara 3”, (TV, 2015), and in Stanislav Govorukhin’s feature film “The End of a Beautiful Epoch”, (2015, uncredited). In 2024, she performed as an actress and movement artist in “Salome” and “La Vestale” at the Paris Opera.
