Biography
Sushant Nagpal is a filmmaker and theatre director from Haryana, India. His work often explores magical realism, myth and absurdity within hyper-real worlds. Sushant has directed acclaimed plays including Talchhat - a Hindi-Haryanvi adaptation of The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and Art by Yasmina Reza. He has worked as Script Supervisor on short and feature film projects and as a trained IB educator, has taught theatre for over four years. Sushant was recently awarded with a JCS International Emmy’s Award and his series Society was selected for the Red Sea Series Lab 2025. Barber of the Gods is Sushant’s fiction film debut.
