Norwegian conductor Tabita Berglund leads the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra in Anna Thorvaldsdottir's Archora, Wagner's Prelude to Tristan and Isolde, and Sibelius' Seventh Symphony. In the first half, Julian Steckel performs Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1.

Violinist Midori performs Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto No. 2 in E minor alongside the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Michael Sanderling. The 2025 Kronberg Festival concludes with this concert in the intimate setting of the Forum Casals.

In The Chairman Dances, John Adams makes Mao dance and Nixon play the piano. In a completely different vein, Harmonielehre pits percussion against melody and strings and winds against rhythm. In Bartók's concerto for two pianos, timpani and xylophone provide a third solo part. David Robertson conducts the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra.

At the helm of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, French conductor Marie Jacquot leads a rich program, with the participation of cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière.

Sergey Khachatryan and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Alain Altinoglu, perform Aram Khatchatourian's Violin Concerto. Also on the programme, Igor Stravinsky's 'Rite of Spring'.

Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt performs Elgar's Cello Concerto alongside the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Michael Sanderling. This concert at the Forum Casals concludes the 2025 edition of the Kronberg Festival.
