Set in early 1900s, young Lana Benton, pushed by the gelid Old Hat man, Mr. Kyn, must confront bizarre creatures in a mysterious dream gland as she follows the last traces of Carole, a girl who escaped from Bunny Hall, a 19th-century girls' orphanage infested with wild rabbits.
Legs Weaver and his colleagues at the Alpha Security and Surveillance Agency all live and work in East City, a futuristic metropolis with tens of millions of inhabitants and a hotbed of all kinds of dangers, from petty criminals to lunatics driven by a desire for world domination.
