Imaginaerum tells the story of an elderly composer, Tom, who suffers from severe dementia. As he has had the disease for years and has regressed into childhood, he remembers practically nothing from his adult life. His music, friends, all his past including the memory of his daughter are a blur in his fragile mind. All he has left is the imagination of a ten year old boy. As he drifts away into coma, it seems impossible to get back what he has lost. Or is it?

End of Innocence is the second official DVD release of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. The DVD features numerous clips of the band performing livetracks, including a recording of the band performing one of their first songs; "Beauty and the Beast", with bassist Marco Hietala performing the male vocal part (in the past this part was performed by Tuomas Holopainen or Tony Kakko, from Sonata Arctica)

Featured on the soundtrack of the film Alone in the Dark,Wish I Had An Angel became the group's most popular single in Europe and in the United States, next to "Nemo", and their highest placed single in the UK charts. It made it onto two U.S. film soundtracks. Directed by Uwe Boll, "Wish I Had an Angel" was the last video from Once and it features some scenes from the 2005 movie Alone in the Dark, also directed by Boll. Wish I Had an Angel is the second most played song by Nightwish in concert, with well over 470 times, as of August 2018. During Once and Dark Passion Play tours it was always the last song performed. This DVD release features the music video for Wish I Had An Angel, as well as the making of the video.

Vehicle of Spirit is a release from Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. Two shows have been recorded during Endless Forms Most Beautiful World Tour; one at Tampere Stadium (July 31, 2015) and the other at Wembley Arena (December 19, 2015). Also, various songs were recorded around the world.

Showtime, Storytime is a video release, released as a double Blu-ray from Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. Nuclear Blast recorded their live performance at Wacken Open Air in Wacken, Germany on 3 August 2013. Showtime, Storytime is the first Nightwish production to feature Floor Jansen on vocals. She initially replaced previous vocalist Anette Olzon during their North America tour leg, and on 9 October 2013 it was revealed that she would become an official band member, along with Troy Donockley. The running time of the concert is 1 hour and 38 minutes. The album also contains a 120-minute documentary about the first days of Jansen in the band, still as an only live member, and her process of adaptation in the band, called "Please Learn the Setlist in 48 Hours".

Full Nightwish concert at Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands. This was featuring new bass player, Jukka Koskinen to a post pandemic audience. While the energy was certainly still coming back to normal, the performance was stellar.

End of an Era is a concert from Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland, on 21 October 2005, the final concert of a long worldwide tour for their album Once. During the concert the band was joined on-stage by John Two-Hawks, who performed "Stone People" from his album Honor as an introduction to "Creek Mary's Blood", which featured his voice and cedar flutes. End of an Era is the final Nightwish production to feature Tarja Turunen on vocals. She was dismissed by a letter after this concert. In addition to original Nightwish songs, three significant covers appear, their known cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away", Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera", and a cover of Pink Floyd's "High Hopes". The running time of the concert is 1 hour and 43 minutes. It also contains a 55-minute documentary about the fifteen days prior to the concert, A Day Before Tomorrow, and a photo gallery.

Brother Firetribe started almost by accident, when Tomppa Nikulainen (keyboards] and Pekka Heino (vocals) decided to play together, then met Emppu Vuorinen, the guitarist of Nightwish, in the local music store. They made their UK debut when they performed at Nottingham's Rock City for Firefest XI - The Final Fling. When Nightwish’s world tour was canceled due to the pandemic, the band wanted to offer fans something unprecedented. Half a year in preparation they put together an exceptionally ambitious production, the like of which had not been seen before. Fans were able to follow the band playing live in the astonishing 3D world, designed according to the band’s vision, while interacting with each other. Also, songs from Nightwish’s latest album ‘Human. : II: Nature.’ were played live for the first time. 'An Evening with Nightwish in a Virtual World’ concert streamed last year across 108 countries to over 150,000 viewers.

The Islander (Edit). The Islander (Full Lenght Video) and Making of "The Islander" - Documentary. The music video was filmed in Rovaniemi, in Finnish Lapland, in October 2007, and Holopainen commented that they at first didn't plan to make a third video for the album, but when they were offered Finnish beauty, they couldn't resist it. He has also said that for once the lyrics actually fits with the video, which is "a sort of Lapp wilderness combined with the surrealism of Salvador Dalí". The video features guest musician Troy Donockley. The video has a steampunk theme with airships, and features the old sailor (the Islander of the title) walking along a beach through the fog dragging a boat behind him and haunted by ghosts of his past.[2] Later we see him in a flashback as a young man playing the uilleann pipes (portrayed by Troy Donockley) with trees blossoming after he ends his life by dropping anchor and being relieved of his burdens.

Nightwish performed a 1-hour concert at the Rock in Rio on September 25. They had invited Sonata Arctica singer Tony Kakko, who stepped onto the stage during “The Islander” and sang “Last Ride of the Day” along with Nightwish.
